1 year old account. 0 feedback question.
I just started selling on Ebay a couple weeks ago. I got a message today from someone with 0 feedback and a year old account asking "If I buy today, can you ship by Monday?"
I have a next business day shipping policy stated. BIN listing. I was half way into my reply when I stopped and looked at his account.
Seemed a little off being so old and never buying anything until my 2000's digital camera caught their eye.
Do I ignore the question? If they buy, I'll ship.
I sold another digital camera and the customer is doing a return that I got a return tracking number but day 4 tomorrow and it has not being dropped off for return.
Any advice would be appreciated.

OP2 years agoLooks like I may be taking both of you advice. I answered. It sold BIN to a new account created yesterday withing minutes of my reply. I had 2 of these exact cameras listed. I few minutes ago I get a offer and message from the same buyer asking if my camera (the 2nd one) comes with a SD card. He didn't care if the first one did, just if it would ship in 6 days.
Sounds like I may be out a camera. I pulled the other listing down. If I don't get scammed and they want to buy the same camera again they can wait until I relist it.

·2 years agoI would answer the question and ship the item if he buys it ... but that's just me.

·2 years agoI would not reply and probably block the buyer immediately. Actually buyer would be on my BBL.
I prefer not to make "any" shipping guarantees.
And some returns can be funny...a few rocks or...in one of my many situations a buyer returned a dark plastic bag with something gooey in it not even the mailman wanted to delivered it. I sell stamps. I refused it at the post office...it had tracking...and contested...and got a $20. charge from eBay.
