change of delivery address for sold item
customer purchased an item, then messaged me to change the delivery address. is there a way to update ebay's UPS shipping label to reflect the delivery address he requested?

·1 month ago@scotth1973225 eBay recently removed the "Edit" capability from the Buyer Address on the Labels Page, so you have an "Out" and can now say it is not possible. Obviously you could go elsewhere to generate a Label and do it, but you are jeopardizing your Seller Protections. Put the ONUS on the Buyer and have them request a Cancellation to correct and buy again (or just use the "Issue with Buyers Address" Cancellation if they remain insistent).

·1 month ago1.) this is, many times, a scammer trying to get you to ship THEM the item instead of the buyer (check who the request came from)
2.) Sellers should NOT edit addresses...if you do you lose any protections.
3.) If a legit buyer, tell them to repurchase using the correct address (you may have to cancel/refund the item)

OP1 month agoThe request was from the buyer. But the advice a few of you have given me was what I felt right away. I’ll make him cancel and reorder. Thanks for the advice.
