BEWARE OF SCAMS !! There are sellers on eBay that claim to be offering OEM parts and shipping Made in China knock-offs !! Z-Auto.com is one of them , they have now changed a cam kit for a 2015 Silverado ad that no longer claims AC Delco lifters with their kit but still says GM cam which is not true . They claim lifetime warranty , the lifters didn't last 3 minutes but I have NO warranty . They list a U.S address but when product arrives , it all came from China . eBay will do nothing since they only cover issues for 30 days , it took longer than that to get the job done by a mechanic so eBay says "TOO BAD" . I know everything cost more to buy local but what price can you place on an item that works ??

Unfortunately, you are right there are a lot of china based sellers, listing parts as OEM and sending unbranded chinese junk. There are also several regional autoparts chains that sell nothing but junk imported from China. Because many of those seller's are registered in this country and give U.S. locations it can be hard to weed them out. I've developed a list of things to look for to help me avoid them. FYI. If you had looked at the feedback profile of the seller mentioned above, you would have seen they are registered in China. While some OEM parts are made in China, chinese sellers are not allowed to sell them outside of their country.

·5 days agoI just saw a set of ls7 lifters being sold for $108. The seller claims he’s located in North Carolina then you look at their profile and they’re located in China. I messaged them asking if they come in the original box and got a reply at 2am. Zero feedback. Yet. My. Guess is once the negative feedback rolls in they’ll just change their name and start a new page. I reported it but eBay doesn’t care as long as they’re getting their fees.
