Shipping address verses Billing address
I ordered a fuel pump and the site automatically wants to send it to my billing address, I saw nothing about where I needed it shipped to, how do I get it here(Florida) instead of the billing address?

·5 months agoThe seller only gets one address -- the shipping address you included with your payment. If you did not explicitly specify one, your Primary Shipping Address is the default address that appears at checkout and that is the address the seller receives and must ship to.
Make sure your Primary Shipping Address is not your billing address so you do not run into this issue again.

·5 months agoIf the seller does not have immediate payment enabled, and you go to the checkout page, you can change the "Ship To" address prior to remittance.
If autopay is enabled, you can edit details (under payment preferences) and change the "Ship To" when presented with the popup prior to purchasing or bidding.
Ship to address changes must be done prior to purchasing. The seller should not alter the address presented in the order details.
If this ship to address is permanent, I recommend (like the other posts do) changing it in your ebay profile preferences. https://accountsettings.ebay.com/uas/addresses

Per eBay regulations, the seller is obliged to ship the item to the address which the buyer had stipulated on the original eBay application.
This shipping address will apply to all your future purchases, as well.
If you wish to change your shipping address, you will need to change that on your own -- the seller can not change it for you.
Go to your "Seller Hub" page, and click on the icon in the upper left corner that says "Hi {your name."
Then click on "Account settings" -- you will be sent to the "My eBay" page."
On the left hand column, scroll down to "Addresses" (under "Personal Info) -- you will be sent to the "Addresses" page.
Scroll down to "Shipping address," and make the changes that you need -- then click on "Edit" at the far right side of the screen.
If the fuel pump which you had ordered has already been shipped, this updated change will not have any impact upon that purchase -- it will have been shipped to the original address which you had stipulated.

·5 months agoSo, hopefully, your seller has not yet shipped the fuel pump?
The problem here is that the buyer sees the invoice, which shows the address to which the item will be shipped, BEFORE he pays. He can change that address himself at that point if it's wrong.
To me, it seems like your best bet is to request the seller cancel, citing "problem with address", and then relist, and you can buy it again, being sure to change that address on the invoice.
Hope someone else has a better and simpler idea.
