Sellers: Location information included in photos - how to turn off?
Since the new app update, location information is being included in product photos. This appears to be the case even when I have removed it manually from the images themselves.
There used to be an option to turn this location info off in the Ebay app but I can no longer find it! I asked the Ebay chat but I am not sure they understood what I was asking.
Can anyone help with this? Thanks!

·5 months agoAre you talking about in the EXIF data @popuphappyshop? I don't use or even have the app so I can't test this before suggesting it but you might try replacing it manually with nonsense instead of removing it. This is assuming you are for some reason opposed to simply keeping location turned off at the device level, which would prevent any location being written to EXIF in the first place, and should-but-might-not prevent the app from doing whatever it's apparently doing to include such data.
