Search results changed drastically
Does anyone know why suddenly (as in, while I was using it) my app search results have gone from the traditional small pictures with listing details to this horrible format? did I get selected for a beta test? I’ll never use eBay again (been getting close to that decision for a while anyway) if this is the new normal.

·7 months agoIt’s very annoying, I agree. What’s even crazier is when I select “Gallery View†it goes from dozens of results to just a single result. Very strange.
But I’ll give eBay a break seeing that they’re a brand new company and haven’t had much experience as a website *rolls eyes*

Make sure you are actually choosing Gallery View rather than the "single item view" option.

There is a setting in the filter menu of your search results that controls the view. You should be able to select between the traditional List or Gallery view, as well as the "horrible" format shown in your pics. Sometimes an app update alters your chosen default settings, and you may need to change your settings back.
You are not the only one to complain about that particular format.

·7 months agoNot a fan of the new search function format… find using it difficult and cumbersome… I have been a user of the EBay App on Apple IPad for years and am finding new format a bit frustrating (selecting the search feature but then having to go to the bottom of the app’s window to enter in the parameters… and changing this parameters is another story). Would appreciate easy use of the function

·7 months ago@stkmac1 Shake your device or tap the ? or ... icon and tap "send feedback" on the pop up. It helps to be concise and constructive so the product developers take the feedback more seriously. Tell them why the changes are making search harder or more time consuming for you.

·1 year agoNo one is ever happy with the app, and Ebay keeps trying to improve it. They make no progress. Perhaps some day, they will give up trying.
