I’ve not been able to use the eBay app for weeks in my iPhone. Even getting my brother to buy things I want off eBay.

·2 weeks agoFrom what I understand eBay updated its security and app frameworks, which means the eBay App strictly requires iOS 17 or later to function.
If you are below iOS 17 and cannot update, you will have to stop using the app.
If you are on iOS 17 or higher, the app data is likely corrupted. You must completely delete the app, restart your iPhone, and then download it fresh from the App Store.
It that fails, here is a workaround...
Open Safari or Chrome on your iPhone.
Go straight to eBay dot com and sign into your account.
If your phone tries to automatically redirect you and force open the broken app, tap and hold the eBay link in your browser search results, then select "Don't open in the app" or "Open in New Tab"
The mobile website has all the exact same buying, bidding, and watch-list features as the app, but it completely bypasses the iPhone software glitches.
