What operating system version number and app version number are you using?
If uninstalling/restarting/reinstalling does not help or if your operating system does not support the latest version of the eBay app, report the issue to eBay by shaking your device while the app is active if you can, then uninstall the app or disable the feature that automatically opens eBay browser links in the app and use a browser to reach ebay.co.uk instead.
I’m on iOS 26.5 and I tried all the usual options that you suggested and shook the phone , I switched the phone off overnight and put it on charge so it was backed up. I tried the app this morning and it worked so what was wrong I haven’t a clue.
