Notifications "interested in" ambiguity: viewed items vs watched items | Mobile Apps

The Android app has notification settings under "Shopping updates" with descriptions including the text "items I'm interested in". These are: "Item ending" and "Item updates". I seem to receive notifications for items I've merely viewed (which I don't want) and items I am watching (which I do want). I'm receiving way too many notifications for items I'm not interested in. Surely I'm not the only user who watches items as a way to mark them 'interesting'? Please can you (one or more of):clarify the item filter behind "interested in" includes items either viewed and watchedotherwise explain how non-watched items trigger notifications and how to avoid these notificationsonly notify about watched items, not viewed items (ideal choice!)sub-divide notifications those two notification options to users the choice regarding viewed / watchedThis topic seems to have reoccurred a few times since 2018!
