No notifications and verify everytime
I don’t receive notifications (they are turned on) for sales and messages. This has caused issues.
also everytime i open the app i have to send a verification text, this is the only app I have that requires this and makes the whole process of using the app a lot less enjoyable

·1 year agoI have the same issue. The phone vibrates but I don't see the notification. I did the diagnostic and all is good.

·2 years agoIn the UK at least, 2-step verification seems to be a requirement rather than an option. That is not the case for other countries, apparently.
If you are signed out of the app entirely, that would prevent push notifications from going through.
Make sure you have the latest version of the app for your operating system. If there is a problem with your app cache or data, clearing that once might help.
If you go to Settings: Notifications and scroll down, there should be a diagnostic tool to check your notification settings and see if there is one that is preventing notifications from going through. Battery optimization is one that can put the eBay app to sleep and prevent notifications when the app is not active.
