Mobile app filtering issue
Whenever I filter by specific stuff such as men’s clothing it resets back to men. This is happening across most filters for me on phone app have deleted and redownloaded a few times and that didn’t fix this issue.

·2 weeks agoI’m having the same issue. I’ll search for coins, then filter to “Coins-world” and it will uncheck that filter and go back to the parent category of Coins and Paper money

·2 weeks agoJust the word “coins”. I’ve been using this method for years to filter down to one subsection, then come back up to the parent search and then try another subsection. What really irks me is that coins can be divided by year so filtering allows me to do that in chunks for a given country

·2 weeks agoA search using the keyword coins defaults to the "Coins & Paper Money" category, so it might be worth searching, then changing the category manually, and then bookmarking the resulting link and using the link as your starting point for further searches.
From time to time eBay changes the categories where certain keywords are directed by default, so old searches may need to be updated when that happens.
Choosing keywords first and searching, then choosing category, then selecting filter options seems to work most consistently for me. Bookmark or save the searches you want to run again rather than trying to recreate each search every time.
Changing the category can change the filter options since some filters are category-dependent. And changing the keywords can change the category, so doing things in the right order can avoid a lot of trouble.
