Is there a seller app?
I have downloaded the Ebay app, but it doesn't seem to give me the information I need. When I search for an item I am wanting to list, Ebay assumes I am trying to buy that item and I get swamped with offers to buy. Isn't there an Ebay app for sellers that will show items listed and what they sold for? Can someone answer please?

·2 years agoAs long as you view listings while logged in to your account @birdy_nest , whether on the app or the website, you may get those offers. eBay does not distinguish between looking at listings for research purposes (even when you're clicking on listings through the Product Research tool) and when you're looking at listings you're interested in purchasing.
You can turn off those offers within your account settings. If you do this it will turn off all offers, including for listings you may be interested in purchasing. See instructions below.
The only real way to keep receiving offers on items you're interested in purchasing, but not receive those offers for items you're viewing for research, is to view listings while not logged in. You can do that through your phone's browser on the eBay website - might even want to use private browsing mode.
To opt out of receiving offers, go to this page: https://commspreferences.ebay.com/commsprefs
Under "Buying Activity" uncheck the boxes for "Offers to buyers" and "Competing Offers" then save the changes.

·1 year agoWhile your suggestions are very helpful, they don’t negate the fact that there should be a sellercentric app that is focused on that and not try to do both. As a buyer and a seller, with separate accts, I’d like to be able to have both environments up and accessible at the same time, which at the moment can only be done by having by buyer acct open on the app and my seller acct open in the web browser.

·2 years agoIf you just want to search sold items, you can filter the traditional search, or sometimes better, go to the Selling tab at the bottom, scroll down a bit and tap on Product Research. It's what used to be called Terapeak and is great for seeing completed sales only.

·2 years agoThere is NOT a 'separate' app.
Somewhere on there, there is a place you click that says 'list' an item- follow prompts- but know that although the world thinks using an app on a phone is fantastic for sellers, it is really NOT. Sellers SHOULD use a full screened computer as the 'listing' page is different, the app is FULL of glitches etc.
