iOS apps have stopped working since the last update
Hello,
The app has been having a lot of trouble working since the last update (6.258.0).
The home page won't load.
The notifications tab keeps reloading, and the notifications don't appear.
Only the "My eBay" tab is displayed, but nothing else appears on the screen.
I tried it on Wi-Fi and on mobile data, but nothing changed.
Please fix this rather annoying bug with an update.

What operating system version number are you using?
App issues can be reported to eBay by shaking your device while the app is active if that feature is enabled and the app is still running.
If uninstalling/restarting/reinstalling the app does not help or if your operating system does not support the latest version of the eBay app, uninstall the app and use a browser to reach ebay.com or ebay.fr instead.

Have you tried uninstalling the app, restarting and then installing the latest version again from The App Store?

·4 months agoI am using the mobile browsers both safari and firefox on ios 15.8 and as the updates screwed those as well. None of the drop down menus work, none of the photos in listings except photo 1 will load, and none of the add to cart/watchlist buttons work. I literally can do nothing except browse listings. I can’t buy or check out.

·4 months agoIt looks like the current eBay mobile app version requires iOS 18.0 or newer.

The latest version of the eBay app requires iOS 17 or later, so if you have the eBay app on your iOS 15 phone, try deleting the eBay app entirely to prevent browser links from automatically opening in a nonworking version of the app. Then see if eBay browser links work properly. If not, see if there is an available browser update you can try. Or try a different browser altogether.

·4 months agoI do not have the app installed. I have been using these browsers and they were working just fine before. I do not want to download a bunch of random browsers to see if any of them will work. If main ones like safari and firefox are not supported then smaller ones are unlikely. And some I cannot download bc my phone is older. But thanks for the reply.

What version numbers? Sometimes older versions have issues and need to be updated.
I do not want to download a bunch of random browsers to see if any of them will work.
It might be worth trying a new install of at least one browser such as Brave to see if that works better with eBay for you. Brave version 1.66.2 should be available in Apple's App Store and works with iOS 15.8, I believe.
