I cannot use the Ebay app anymore
I cannot use the Ebay app anymore. I need to update the app and a new IOS is required to do the update, there is no IOS update available for my Iphone5. I’m asked if I want to download the latest compatible version. Doesn’t work either. Do I have to start using Amazon instead of Ebay?

·1 year agoGuess I won’t be using EBay as I won’t fall for the corporate types to extract more money out of me. I have a perfectly operating device Apple should cater to me not the other way around.

If your operating system does not support the latest version of the eBay app and you cannot update your operating system, it should still be possible to use a mobile browser to go to ebay.com or ebay.ca and use eBay that way.
If eBay browser links are opening in the app automatically, iOS users should be able to tap and hold an eBay browser link and select "don't open in the app" to prevent that from happening.

If your device is outdated Apple no longer supports it.
Apple doesn't cater to outdated devices.
Its not just eBay that is affected by an outdated device many other apps including websites won't support outdated iOS.
