even after updating still getting a frozen app with the my eBay section
Summary: frankb1992 reports ongoing issues with the eBay app on an iPhone, despite a recent update that was supposed to fix bugs. The app frequently freezes, preventing them from tracking purchases directly within the app, forcing reliance on email for tracking instead. They express frustration at the lack of resolution and consider stopping the use of eBay due to this persistent inconvenience.
I see that otther’s are having the same issue even after the update! There’s a serious issue with using the my eBay section. The app keeps freezing up and locking up to the point where you cannot click on nothing else you have to swipe out of the app and close the tab just to be able to do anything you guys seriously need to fix this problem because when I buy something, I can’t even track it from the eBay app. I have to go to my email to be able to track whatever I purchased from your guys site. This is a big issue and I’m using an iPhone. I don’t know if android is having this issue but something needs to be done because we just had an update for the app probably six days ago and it’s still doing it and you guys said that you fix the bug and whatever you guys fixed it absolutely did not fix the issue. It’s getting very irritating honestly to the point where I don’t want to use eBay anymore.

If uninstalling/restarting/reinstalling does not help or if your operating system does not support the latest version of the eBay app, report the issue to eBay by shaking your device while the app is active if you can, then uninstall the app or disable the feature that automatically opens eBay browser links in the app and use a browser to reach eBay instead.
If the problem is just with the main eBay app screen, see here for a potential workaround to let you reach other screens:
