Ebay App notifications
I am not getting notifications on Ebay app on my iphone for example, Messages, when I need to relist an item I am selling etc etc. I am only getting email notifications. I have notifications switched on when I go to settings, apps on my iphone settings. Any ideas?

Make sure you notification settings are set correctly; try temporarily turning off push notifications, then turning them back on. Make sure your iPhone is not set to put the eBay app to sleep due to battery optimization settings or "do not disturb" or something similar.
The Android version of the eBay app has a notification diagnostic tool to tell exactly what settings are preventing a notification from getting through.

OP9 months agoWhen you say make sure notification settings are set correctly, do you mean notifications on my iPhone - settings - apps?
In apps on my iphone notifications for ebay are all toggled on!
Also when you say try temporarily turning off push notifications do you mean on settings/apps/ ebay or within the ebay app?

·9 months agoYes, it sounds like you have checked the relevant app settings. Other things to check: make sure that you are not using battery optimization that might be putting the app to sleep; if that happens you will only receive eBay app notifications when you have the app open.
Some folks having issues with app notifications seem to get better results by turning the push notifications off in the app, then turning them back on from within the app.
