Dynamic Island Won’t Close on iPhone

On iPhone 14s, 15s, 16s, and 17s the dynamic Island at the top of the screen will not close if you had been participating in an auction. Whether or not you won the item, once the auction ends, the dynamic island will never close. Even turning off, live updates in iPhone settings and restarting the phone does not fix it. From what I was able to find, this is an issue with eBay not correctly programming the dynamic island feature. Only solution is to delete the app.

only way was to delete it -
It just scrunches up when I tried to swipe away - any direction.

·10 months agoYou can easily remove any Live Activity while your phone is locked by tapping the lock screen and swiping the Live Activity to the left.

·10 months agoUsing the Android version of the eBay app, there is an option to delete cache and data, which might help in this sort of situation; if the iOS version has something similar that might be a quicker workaround than uninstalling the app, at least until eBay addresses the issue.
Deleting app data would require signing back in to eBay in the app, though.
