Can't update ebay app
This morning my Ebay app wouldn't open saying I needed to update it. I tried this several times and play store wouldn't give the option to update it. I uninstalled the app, switched off, tried again several times but to no avail. My appstore is the up to date version. Any suggestions please?

·1 year agoAccording to a post on the UK community boards, the latest version of the eBay app requires Android 10 or later, or iOS 17 or later.

If you cannot upgrade your operating system or find an older version of the app that works with your current operating system, you should still be able to use a browser to go to ebay.co.uk instead.
If eBay browser links are opening in the Android version of the app automatically, you can disable that by going to your device Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Opens supported links and choosing "Don't open in the app". iOS users can tap and hold an eBay browser link and choose "Don't open in the app".

·1 year agoYes.. Having exactly the same problem. Says i need to update this version but its already updated or there isnt an update. Version numbers ive noticed for android 9.0 are at .140 and updates for 10 and above says .149 but have tried restarting phone and still not working.
