Can't crop photos on mobile
Cropping photos on mobile is not working for more than a week About 75% of the time the screen just goes black. This makes listing on mobile impossible for me. Anybody else experiencing this? I've reported the issue multiple times.

·1 year agoI'm having the same problem on android, for now I just take my pictures and go to the gallery and crop them there and then import those photos when making my listing. This never happened on my google pixel but now it happens on my samsung

·1 year agoYes same issue here and its been going on for WAY too long. I been living with it as it does not always do it for me but I would say about 30% of the time. I have to back out re-crop it and try to save it again. Its ridiculous that it used to work great and now its not. Even worse is the answers and smart-ass comments that people make in response to a real issue in this forum. Using the mobile app to directly take photos with the eBay app is by far the quickest way to list.

Gurl, there used to be a forum for Android and I phone users but I don't know if it's still standing or not.

Since you have an android phone, your photos should go into Google photos. Take a photo, check Google photos and see if it's in there, if so tap photo than the crop feature will come up. Use a Stylus and slowly raise or lower your photo tap save when done.
I do this on a daily basis, if your still having issues stop into a cell phone store and ask for help, Walmart electronics dept will help you as well.

·1 year agoThis is not an answer. What you suggest takes way longer.
How about ebay should work as they say it should?

OP2 years agoThis makes listing, the most unpleasant part of ebay, an intolerable task. I've tried everything including reinstalling the app a few times. The screen just goes black on android after cropping and pressing done.

Android or IPhone?

OP2 years agoWell obviously but I only list using mobile. So no, problem not solved.

OP2 years agoWhy do you say that?

·1 year agoWhat a ridiculous response. So if someone crops photos on the app then they are not set up for success?
Tf kind of response is that?

·1 year agoNo, Manny of us list on our phones. The mobile app does have advantages. I usually never have problems and have lists thousands of things, but recently when I crop my photos on my Android, the eBay app uploads the Pre-cropped versions of these photos. This wouldn't be a problem, but eBay different allow for as much photos editing, so even making the photo straight can't be done

The app wouldnt exist if your comment had a bit of sense in it.
