Can’t get iPhone 7 to update E-bay app
When I go to eBay I get a message update is needed . I go to the App Store it gives me the option to open eBay when I press the open button I get the same message to update the outdated app . Maybe iPhone 7 is not eBay compatible . Thanks

·11 months agoYou'll find that iPhone 7 is not compatible with a lot of apps, and the list is growing. Apple released the last security update for that OS back in March and won't be releasing any more.
As the other responder said, you can delete the app and access eBay through your phone's browser instead. Keep in mind the security issues when accessing anything on your phone (not just eBay) and consider it may be time for an upgrade.
The reason is quite simply really, your iPhone 7 is outdated. eBays app requires iOS 17 or newer. If you can’t update to a new iPhone delete the app and use the safari web browser.
