Barcode Scanner (Android)
Yesterday, I fired up the eBay app on my Pixel phone to sell some Blu-rays I've got in my garage. I used to be able to list these superfast using the barcode scanner. I noticed that feature is now missing - what the actual ____?!? Whose idea was this, guys? Bring this feature back! 😡

The bar code scanner is in the latest version (6.183.0.1).

OP1 year agoI am not seeing it - when I click "List an Item," I can take or upload photos, but the spot where there used to be a barcode scanner (top right) is no longer there. I've searched all over the app and cannot find it or that functionality.

·1 year agoI do not know about listing, but when searching I can tap the camera icon in the search bar to reach the bar code scanner.

OP1 year agoThanks for that - I found that function. There used to be a barcode scanner directly from the "list an item" screen under the seller dashboard. It made it very easy to list quickly.
Now, I guess the fix is to search, scan the barcode, click a listing, click the three dots (top right), and click "Sell One Like This." It's not as straightforward as it used to be.
