App not working right
Instead of getting notifications of a bid and how much, now I am just being told "your item has a bid" requiring me to click on it to look....Very annoying!....I hope this is not the way it will be from now on...

OP10 months agoIt's kind of dangerous....I have to type in a code to open the app on my phone but the notifications of bids use to show right on the screen without any need to sign into my phone...What a person could see at a glance will now require them to sign into their phone to see the amount of the new bid...I wouldn't go to that length while driving but someone else may be too curious to wait....I tried shaking my phone but no request for feedback is show

·10 months agoNot sure why anybody would check eBay notifications while driving. That's a user issue, not an eBay issue.
But generally speaking, I agree it's more helpful to see the bid amount within the notification.
Go to My eBay > Settings > Shake to report and see if you have that setting turned on.

·10 months agoShake your phone while the app is open, then tap on the submit feedback link. Let eBay know you don't like the change to this notification.
eBay does not provide reasons why they make changes like that. My best guess is because forcing you to tap on it helps eBay measure engagement / interest.
