App Broken for me??
So, some apps on my phone started acting funky so I went to updates and eBay was one of the apps that needed to update. I updated it and Google Play gave me the message that my device was no longer compatible for some reason.
So, I went to Google to get more info and there were several things that COULD be the problem. One was that my device needed to update. I checked, nope, I'm on Android 14 and Google says eBay needs Android 10 or higher to run.
Okay, so that's not the problem.
Cleared the cache for Google Play and Google Services, still doesn't work. At this point I'm annoyed cause Google says it SHOULD work for my phone and yet Google Play says it doesn't. And this is on a product FROM eBay. I got this phone from them like a month ago so idk what the issue is.
EBay has been an essential app one my phone for years, does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

What app version number are you using?
App issues can be reported to eBay by shaking your device while the app is active if that feature is enabled and the app is still running.
If you have not already tried, it might be worth uninstalling the eBay app, restarting your device, then installing the latest version of the eBay app. The restart in between should ensure a clean install, which may help if the problem is related to a past installation.
If that does not help, uninstall the app and use a browser to reach ebay.com instead.
