Anybody know anything about Ebay fixing search box functioning on the app?
Voice input is not functioning properly when trying to use Ebay's search box. Even typing into the search box is messed up. It's completely screwy and frustrating. Does anyone know if Ebay has admitted to knowing there is a problem and if anyone from Ebay, even a rep on the phone, has said they are working on fixing it? I think they are reworking several things with ebay and maybe not going to fix this until they implement the other things they are working on at the same time with a new update which sucks if they could just go ahead and fix this right now

eBay released a new version of the eBay app in the middle of last month which seemed to fix the issues mentioned in this thread.
If you are still having those problems, make sure your operating system version supports the eBay app and that you actually have the latest version of the app (6.242.0.2 for Android).

App issues can be reported to eBay by shaking your device while the app is active if that feature is enabled and the app is still running.
Others have noticed that and similar issues searching using the eBay app.

Until eBay releases a new app update, you may be able to work around the problem by using a mobile browser to search, edit your searches or save your searches.

OP9 months agoIs anyone using and android phone with Android 12 not experiencing any issues? I have a Pixel 3XL, yes a somewhat older phone but a decent phone and cannot go to 13 without some hacking.

Due to an annual increase in system activity experienced during this period, which has caused processing delays, eBay cannot fix this right now.

I just tested and had no problem on the Android app on Android 13
