Android app--editing search string should not move cursor to end of string
Reproduce:
Start Android app
Click "Search in eBay" button to open Search
Type a string, eg "me shoes"
Use finger to move cursor to end of "me"
Type "ns" to change first word to "mens"
The result is "men shoess" not expected "mens shoes".
The cursor should not jump to the end of the string after any keystroke (including bksp or del).
I understand the app is searching on every stroke but it should not move the cursor from where the user placed it after an edit. Count chars and move the cursor back if you have to. A working editbox is a must.
Thanks!

App issues can be reported to eBay by shaking your device while the app is active if that feature is enabled.
Others have noticed that particular problem as well, along with other search issues in the latest version of the app:
https://community.ebay.com/t5/Mobile-Apps/Recent-android-update-ruined-the-keyboard/m-p/35410074#M54560
Until eBay updates the app to correct that, you can work around the issue by using a browser to search or to edit or save your searches.
