it is the responsibility of the seller to ensure that products are decently packed. I recently bought a ring on May 27 2026. Seller likely shipped the ring without packaging box or even plastic and in a large paper envelope. When I received there was a small circular tear in the middle of the envelop, otherwise, the enveloped is sealed but no ring inside. I contacted both seller and ebay and they claimed that since it was received (even if envelop is empty), they will not reimburse me. This is most ridiculous. It is the seller's responsibility to ensure proper industry standard packaging, and how can one put a ring in a paper envelop without packaging and ship out and now I have to pay the price for the loss?
