I had a problem with a seller and eBay did not help meat all. I bought an item, but I did not receive it. The furnished tracking number said the item was delivered. When I contacted the seller, store77yos, they told me they shipped the item and the tracking said it was delivered. When I went to the Post Office, they told me the GPS stamp did not match my address. Initially, I thought the carrier might have made a mistake, but as I got into it, and reported the issue to the PO, they said my address did not match the address listed for the tracking number. I was able to get through to a person once when I went through all the AI bullcrap. I told all this to them and the said eBay would contact the seller and make a determination. throughout the whole issue, I wa s sure that the seller did not contact the USPS or open an investigation to see what might have happened. If what the PO said was true, the seller might have shipped the item to the wrong address. I have had that happen before, but the seller was a good eBay seller and we got it straightened out. This seller obviously doesn't care as long as they get paid and they don't have to issue a refund. In this case, eBay did not do due diligence and they sided with a seller that obviously made a mistake, because I paid them $56 and I got nothing. As much as I hate it, I might have to switch over to Amazon. My girlfriend has absolutely no problems with them and they go out of their way to correct ANY problems. I have never bought anything from Amazon, but eBay is forcing me to go that route in order to get true assurances of actually getting what I pay for. It's really sad.
