Really eBay
I placed an order a few months ago that was marked as delivered, but when I checked my mailbox, it wasn’t there. I reported the issue to eBay, the seller, and the post office. The seller insisted they had sent the item and could not assist further, and eBay’s Money Back Guarantee did not help resolve the situation. I did not receive a refund. However, today a new neighbor, who moved into the home where the package had been mistakenly delivered, brought the package over to me. I am grateful to have such wonderful neighbors, because he did not have to bring it over. eBay did not intervene, and the lack of shipping insurance and the failure to honor the guarantee could have resulted in a financial loss. I have not placed an order since because I can end up losing money since depending on the seller if they put insurance on the package and eBay may not help if I don't get my package. Very unhappy customer.
