eBay’s treatment of sellers
I am a seller on eBay. On , eBay support instructed me to unlist and relist all my items to fix an account issue. To comply, eBay overrode my two-hundred-fifty monthly listing limit and charged me thirty-six cents each on one hundred ninety-nine items, totaling seventy-one dollars and sixty-four cents. eBay refunded those fees, but offered no solution to restore my listing ability. When I asked to speak with someone about resetting my monthly listing allowance, the manager stated a reset was not possible, refused to escalate, and hung up on me. I was never told I could upgrade my store subscription to list up to one thousand items a month. I discovered this option on my own and have since upgraded to a Basic Store at twenty-one ninety-five a month. I am seeking reimbursement of the seventeen-dollar difference and a written explanation of why no solution was offered. I request a written response within fourteen days. eBay customer support management has no clue how to solve seller issues and treat sellers with little or no respect
