eBay is unfair in monthly evaluations of Sellers
If anyone thinks the monthly evaluations of you as a seller is fair, they must be selling too much. Because for the smaller enterprises like mine with 4000+ feedbacks over 20+ years on eBay, it’s unfair. Obviously to me is that the employees that oversee your Seller hub, are not familiar with doing business. Consequently my Seller monthly scores are riddled with misinformation. Of course eBay charges me 6% extra for their misconceptions on sales ! The problems often come from listings that include “Presales”. One thing I have determined is that, if you buy the shipping label “early “, it may bite the seller in the ass later. I have always liked to buy a shipping label when it’s been paid for by my customer. They have paid so show them your good faith and produce the tracking asap, even if they know their item is on Presale. Oh no! eBay will use the date you purchase that label to penalize you. That date will most certainly cause the delivery of your sale TO BE LATE! Yes, no matter how clearly your eBay ad states wait time, an early purchase of the label WILL COST YOU DEARLY. You will receive a black mark against you for that month you shipped the item sold on a Presale. Even if you ask for eBay to reconsider. THEY WILL NOT. This can become a main cause for eBay charges of 6% extra on every item you sell. This is a practice that is unfair or a scam to charge smaller sellers more money for eBay’s benefit.
