I had a diamond bar brooch awhile back with a similar G mark and similar filigree and an old fold over on the clasp What is the marking below the G? Mine had a faint karat stamp, I believe it was 10k. I never figured out what the G meant. I googled endlessly. My best guess was it stood for gold.
