I can't come up with a college name for you, but IMHO it is HMC or MHC, where the "C" stands for college. 1909 is the graduation year, and E C is the graduate's initials.

·2 years agoNo clue if this applies, but I thought of Mount Holyoke College which was founded pre-1900s if my memory is correct.
