Has anyone purchased jewelry from this seller Sunshine_Jewelry_1 from India? I recently purchased a "diamond" lab grown diamond ring. Supposedly all items they sell are lab grown diamonds, contained with the purchases is a GIA cert of authenticity assuring ALL their jewelry is authentic with real lb grown diamond
I took that purchase to a jeweler and had it looked at under a scope and tested. It definitely was NOT a diamond!!!!!!!!@ It was tested as moissanite.
I am concerned for all of those who have or will purchase items from this seller. It's fraudulent on their part to advertise that their stones are all lab grown diamonds and backed by GIA standard of authenticity when infact they are installing moissanite in the settings.
I received a GIA cert along with that ring. I was able to receive a refund, but inspite of informing Ebay of what took place, my negative review on the seller's feedback was removed!!!!! Wow, so, it's OK that past and future buyers believe they're buying lab grown diamond pieces, not knowing they are infact buying moissanite instead?!!
EVERYTIME, I have ever bought jewelry on the internet, I will always, ALWAYS take it to a jeweler to be tested. Please, do your homework and take your jewelry pieces and get them tested. It's risky business purchasing items on the internet like this.

·3 months agoThis happens all day every day. My advice is to look for US sellers where anything over $500 gets authenticated. And, more importantly, ask yourself if the deal is too good to be true.
Look at listings for genuine natural alexandrite, natural fancy-colored diamonds, and other rare and expensive stones. If some US sellers are asking over $1,000 for a small 1/4 carat stone, ask yourself how a foreign seller is selling a much larger, say 5 carat stone for $29. Markets are international. Legit deals like that do not exist in the real world.
To my point here is an example I recently posted to an earlier thread:
"I list a natural fancy colored purplish pink diamond ring today. It's a tiny stone, but I tell about how rare it is, and it is your opportunity to own a natural pink diamond at an affordable price ($659.99). Then I see half a dozen ads for listings like this pop up in my listing:

How someone like this can be a top-rated seller with so many positive reviews just blows my mind. Also love how it is a natural fancy pink diamond but somehow also "D" at the same time! Do NONE of their buyers go to a local expert to have their piece checked? Crazy!"
