Schreiner thread just totally GONE now?

As far as I can tell, this is not the only jewelry-related forum. For the most part I like that because before there were multiple overlapping ones, which made no sense. But it's weird how it says this one was "created" May 4, 2026 -long after it actually started, but over a month before the transition to this new Community. So what's up with that.
And tragically, I do NOT see the Schreiner thread anymore, which according to a comment in the old forum WOULD be migrated over here, not just the activity since 2023, but the whole thread going back to 2018. I hate to say it but I had a feeling someone was given a false promise about that.
Oh and btw I just did a search for 'Schreiner' -no results whatsoever.

·1 month agoHoo boy, I am not enjoying the new layout; I can't just click on pages to view certain discussions on that thread. It's so long that you need to keep hitting "see more", but it seems to refresh every few minutes and set you back. Navigating some of the stuff on the pages that are in between newest and oldest is tricky; I can't find the vital "hallmarks/tells that the item you have is a schreiner" posts that Steven made! :\

What I'm talking about is a thread that was started in 2018.

But notice how that thread was in the 'Jewelry and Gemstones' SUB-forum, which appears not to exist anymore. So I don't know how anybody could find the Schreiner thread unless it could be migrated here to the (broader) Jewelry forum.

OP1 month agoYeah I guess, but new people will not be able to find it, and even existing users will have to go through this weird/difficult way to get there. The main guy himself (grandson of the famous designer) is probably getting 'up there in age' and I don't know if he'll figure it out. And without him the thread is all but pointless.
