Need help with makers mark on this black diamond brutalist ring
Hi
Inside the markings left to right are:
S925 14K in separate rectangle boxes above #21
Next is a diamond shape with a downward curve at the bottom
Then a box with 0.57ct over OPQ
And last is a stamped gold snowflake? shape on the outside at the base of the shank
I've got some of this figured out...the ring is mostly 925 sterling and I'm assuming the
snowflake? shape on the outside is 14K. I tested the stones and they are black diamonds,
so I'm assuming they total 0.57ct.
Could OPQ mean opaque black diamonds?
The figure of the diamond shape/curve and #21 has me stumped, too.
Thank you in advance for any help or thoughts about this ring.

·1 year agoI agree with all of your conclusions and suppositions....and, sorry, but don't have much else to offer. The diamond shape figure is a maker's mark. #21 is maybe a serial or style number?
It is unusual that the carat weight appears to be stamped and not engraved.
