·7 months agoYep, I saw the same tax on something I sold on the other site. The piece was going to Colorado. I can't wait for every other state to climb on board. It's not like I have a choice on how something gets delivered. Everything goes by truck eventually??

Here`s what I found out.. in case anyone else has it pop up on an invoice
eBay charges a Retail Delivery Fee (RDF) not as a standard platform fee, but as a tax mandated by specific states like Colorado and Minnesota, applied to the buyer for items delivered by motor vehicle, usually 25¢ (CO) or 50¢ (MN) per order, which eBay collects and remits to the state; it's a government charge for road maintenance, appearing as a separate line item for buyers in those locations, not a direct fee from eBay to sellers

OP7 months agoNever mind..it`s going to Co which is one of the states that does have this (road maintenance, etc) It goes direct to the state I guess
