What kind of "work" is this on this vintage choker?
I am trying to figure out what kind of work this is on this choker necklace, it is quite old, and I had looked it up a few years back and I think I had dated it to the 30s to 40s, but having a hard time finding something similar. Anyone know what decade these were popular? The flowers are hand sewn onto a woven band.

·3 years agoBeautIful and in VERY good condition. Someone really protected this treasure. It almost has a lace like quality, reminds me of some trim work I have seen on antique dresses and skirts before.
For some reason it also reminds me of the quilting Yo-yos but that’s not quite right.
I bet someone would love to wear that at their wedding. It’s lovely. If you list it definitely put bride or wedding in the title.

OP3 years agoThank you! It was tucked away in an old jewelry box with jewelry and old gloves, it is in excellent condition, not delicate at all. I listed it with wedding in the title.
I have no idea what to ask for this, I can't find anything like it at all.

The thread is throwing me though as it looks like very lightweight plastic strips like plastic craft cording.0
Based on crochet and flower I went on google looking for examples as chokers and necklaces and found this page.
