Turquoise and Sterling Silver jewelry lot - I am out of my league
I don't deal with a lot of this type of jewelry. I hae been told the necklace is Heshi and possibly Santo Domingo and then NA. The two bracelets are Taxco and the Pendant is Carole Felley?. The other names that were mentioned were John Handy and Mark Chee. I am lost,all help is appreciated.

·8 months agoThe heshi necklace is beautiful! It is way better quality heshi than you can get these days unless you're willing to pay a fortune. They are all nice quality vintage pieces. The details on pieces like that tell the story; well soldered links, thick sterling, well set stones. I bet they all do well.

·8 months agoHi, the bracelets are Mexico, one with block turquoise, the other synthetic opal. I think, the turquoise heshi is genuine turquoise, very common style, unless marked on the cones, no way to know who made it, although these are quite a bit commercially made. The pendant looks like Chinese (Hubei) turquoise, if the back is open, most likely made in India. With that thick frame, not too likely NA, could be Mexico as well, sometimes they mark on the inside of bail.

OP8 months agoThere are no marks on the pendant but was told Carol Felley's earlier pieces had no marks. The two taxco pieces have taxco markings, the heshi necklace has a flat line with a sun rise but is way too small to photo

·8 months agoIf you have a loupe and a digital camera, hold the loop over the mark and shoot the mark thru it. I have found this helps a lot with tiny marks. Some are so small even that will not help.

OP8 months agoThanks Sarah, I generally deal with costume altough I have also dealt with sterling and or gold but this is beyond me.
