Sterling Siler but what the heck is it?
I have looed in my books and all over the net, and am again at a loss When Ipicked up a baggy of costume jewelry I found this in the bottom. First there is no closure i.e. no way to open it up it measures about 16" in total length, it is not marked although does test as sterling silver. I am looking for any info that anyone may have on this piece. I think the flower i supposed to be dogwood, but other than that i'

·1 year agoDifferent versions of clasps like this are common in high karat jewelry from Asia (including India). Sterling wire, like high karat gold wire is easily bendable. As mentioned, just pull slightly to open, and squeeze gently to secure when wearing.

It looks like your clasp has been 'squeezed' together. Don`t think the flower is a dogwood tho, (they are flat) but not sure what it`s supposed to be
