Klarna?????? Help
Just listed my first listing since I've been back.
Asked about Klarne in the chat as I saw it on several listings. I just found it on the listing I just did. I tried looking it up and couldn't find any info on it. What is it? How does it work? Do you send the item out before fully being paid for it? I am so confused.

Klarna is another credit option for buyers. Sellers are paid in full up frontt. The same as if they pay with Mastercard or visa.
The seller never knows how a buyer funds their payment. Klarna has been a payment option for a couple years.

OP2 weeks agoThank you so much for the information. I had never seen it before or even heard of it. Just wasn't sure how it worked from the sellers point of view.
Appears to be a matter of what your starting price is anything over $35.00 it's automatic. Which explains why it is on some listings and not on others.
Thank you again.

OP2 weeks agoSo, I found this which explains Klarna from the buyer's point of view, but what about the seller?

·2 weeks agoThanks for the link. A s aSeller we don't have to do anything in particular as states above. What I am wondering is if we can opt out of it as a payment option. Makes no matter to me in the long run since as a seller I'm not in charge of buyer's finances.
IMHO I'm not a fan of loan payment styles, pay-as-you-go and the like for buying.

OP2 weeks agoCarol, I agree with you. Personally, I don't think I would ever use it as a buyer. As a seller, I don't think we have a choice. Once an item goes over or is listed for over $35.00 it is available to the buyer. At least, that is what I found and what I have seen in the listings I have looked at.
