Judy Lee?
My two best friends, chat, and google want me to believe this brooch is Judy Lee. Any ideas of maker or confirmation that it is Judy Lee? Thanks.

·1 year agoThe pin mechanism on this brooch does not look like what I'm used to seeing on Judy Lee pieces and neither is the back construction. Here is an example of a signed piece that i sold. This shows the typical construction that I'm familiar with.

Hope this helps.

·1 year agoI agree with Sandy ... the back construction she showed with the center doily & the rivets has been on almost every JL pc I`ve had over the years.
But just in case there are smooth backs..you might try looking for earrings that match your brooch that might be signed... just a thought.

·1 year agoI have to agree with Sandy and Sarah. I'm used to the filigree back with chevron pin attachment. Even if it isn't Judy Lee, it's a beautiful brooch!

·1 year agoI know that a lot of their broaches were not marked, and it is very difficult to find a catalog of JL. You would need to somehow find an old advertisement for it to confirm. That is what I'm thinking.
I did see a couple on Etsy and Cherish. They did not state that they are JL.
I hope someone can help you.
Happy hunting.
