Happy labor day Eye Candy Wednesday!
Not that the sellers are taking the day off. Post some if you've got some. Keep the image size smaller to speed loading, and as usual nothing from a live auction.
Me not being bright: I found a Phi Beta Kappa key and sold it, eons ago now. The two necklaces are things I made, also a long time ago. Enameled copper and aventurine on the green one, and the cars were just glass and who-knows.

OP2 years agoAmen. I love a good "mistake". The turquoise bracelet is probably totally legit, but I'd test if you're reselling. If not, rubbing your thumb on the tarnish, hard , will tell you something fast. The easier it is to remove tarnish, the more likely it is to be silver.
...and trust Dreams to post some good brooches. I love the old 30s enamel.

·2 years agoAll beauties, love the KJL and dragons breath the most. I haven't been out much in this hot summer, but some finds:
The turquoise bracelet is somewhat of a mystery, but my Native American Jewelry group is seeing the real deal. It was sold to me as "junk" for $8. No marks, turquoise tests as genuine, could be silverplated or sterling.
The graduated angel skin? coral necklace, GF clasp, was sold to me also for $8 as "Wilma Flinstone beads."
Finally, antique mall mistake, found on a costume chain, 14k white gold and diamond circle pendant, $10.

·2 years agoYesterday I bought this cameo. It's without a doubt modern, and not at all my usual style. But, my mother would have loved it . I just know she would have. Since she passed away I associate birds with her, thanks to Sandy here on this board for telling me that whenever I see a cardinal it's my mother visiting. Now, for me, it's become all birds. And even birds in jewelry!! Why not?
