Dealing with a selling issue can you help
I have been searcing for an Ebay telephone number. I have done the ebay chat thing but its not working. I have spent hours trying to reach a uman or find a phone number. If you have an ebay telephone number where I can talk to an actual human please PM me.
I have a buyer with buyers remorse and I am sick of dealing with some of these losers.

There is no direct-call ebay phone number, and there hasn't been since covid. You have to work through the help & contact menu as others have stated, and receive a callback. In most cases, you'll find members here quite helpful in resolving issues if you care to post details.

·7 months agoIf your buyer has buyer's remorse and has requested a return for Item Not As Described, treat it as a valid INAD return or it will cost you more than if you do not. It can cost you a refund with no refund of Ebay fees and no return, and it will cost you a metrics hit on your Seller Level calculation.
If you were to reach a CSR, you might be told you will win such a dispute, but you will not.

·7 months agoYou can talk to an eBay representative and they are very helpful. You need to go to sellers help area. You will see links to videos or be offered to ask other sellers via these channels, etc. If you poke around long enough, you will see an option to chat with their system. This is an AI chatbot that can answer some questions.
In that chat, type "agent" or "representative". It will pop up an option whether you want to chat with a human, or would like a call back. Choose call back. They WILL call you back pretty quickly.
Good luck!

If you have a buyer who wants to return something purchased from you, and his reason is something like "doesn't fit" (mainly for clothing) or "didn't like it", per eBay , those are remorse returns, he can return and you will refund, but you do not refund the shipping portion.

·7 months agoI don't know if this applies to you, but every time I begin a draft, a little bubble pops up on the lower right of the page that reads, "Request a call." They call back within minutes. I'll pretend I'm starting a draft just to get that message if I need to speak to someone. Try going to your draft page and typing in a few letters and see if that message pops up.

·7 months ago@mimiwells There is no number to call anymore.
You can post here and people will try to help you or you can go to the bottom of the page and do the chat thing.
If you search for a number online most of those you will find are scam sites, so beware.

·7 months agoThere are "actual humans" here where questions can be asked and hours not be spent...
*edit* But the "PM me" wonders why the secrecy. It's a message board, you can ask.

OP7 months agoJust notified by ebay that they are refunding her money to her.She said item not as described. She's an asshat. Been doing this too long to have to deal with this type of frustration. Don't need it, maybe its time for me to leave Ebay Selling.

·7 months agoAre they having the buyer return the item?
When a buyer files an INAD, you either refund and let them keep the item or accept the return, pay return shipping, then refund when something is returned.
