I can assure you I never deleted anyone’s post. I do not know of anyway I can do that. I’m pretty sure only the OP or higher ups have the power to delete. I would guess you either didn’t actually send your post through or eBay deleted it for something it said. I’m leaning more towards a mistake in posting. I would love to see your post, please try again.

Yes I have had problems in catching true color in rhinestones and clothing. I have even had a purple brooch that appeared brown like yours. I think natural lighting on a white background helps best but still not perfect and it’s frustrating!

·4 months agoScifi, your red brooch is also West Germany. I had a large collection years ago. I think I had these in almost every color made LOL Most likely the earrings were marked

·4 months agoOh my gosh, that Freirich brooch is darling. The checkerboard on an opaque stone is so distinct; I hope that one sells fast for you!
(I know next to nothing about vintage jewelry, so I'm excited I get to see so many pretty pieces!)

·4 months agoWhat shocked me was that all of this was still there at 11am on a Saturday. With the amount of jewelry buyers in my area, I figured all of the good stuff was gone. When she offered me all of the jewelry for $9, you can bet I grabbed it.
I kept a few pieces, that I will put in the eye candy later today.

·4 months agoI call that "The Cone of Invisibility." It's happened to me a number of times when I've walked up to a yardsale late in the day only to find one or several valuable pieces just sitting there. It always amazes me 😀

·4 months agoFirst of all, southernmermaid8 does not have administrative permission to remove posts, so you're barking up the wrong tree.
Second, this is a jewelry forum. Did you post pictures of your jewelry? Not sure what you mean about posting music videos on Instagram. What does that have to do with this group?
Third, you would have received a notice that your post was removed for whatever reason. Can you further explain the content of your post that was removed?

·4 months agoI'm back after a hard drive crash last week, buying a new computer and then hunting for my massive picture files. It only robbed 4 1/2 days of my life 😖 but I'm back in business!

Unsigned beauty. Strange phenomenon on these rhinestones. They are as purple as purple can be, but I can't capture that with my camera. Did you ever have a piece of rhinestone jewelry where the color of the stones is different in person than through the camera lens? I know there are alexandrite rhinestones because I have a brooch with those stones, but these are something different.

Try taking the 1st pin actually laying on something purple or a combination of half purple & half white would be better
I used to have to do that for difficult colors..many sellers use it
