2 196's Rhinestone Brooches
These two brooches are very sparkly in regular lighting taking a pic of the red one has been a challenge. Someone told me the green one was Julianna - but I don't think so i've looked on their website and can't find a match. Your thoughts are all appreciated.

OP6 months agoThank you all folks I appreciate it. I was pretty sure the green and red were not Juliana or D&E but wanted confirmation. So they will go up for sale as individual rhinestone brooches. Lets see if they sell lol.

BeauJeweles also was big on the rivet construction and was known for only signing the earrings.
Definitely, no on the red as Juliana.

I’m no D&E expert, but my first thought is NO. I don’t remember them using those rivet style settings and the pin stem doesn’t seem right either. It’s not usually attached by that Y in the center. It’s usually larger and soldered to the sides. Plus none of the rhinestones have open backs, which D& E usually does.
Hold for more opinions.

·6 months agoEvery time I see a brooch with the rivets & lacy doily type backing I automatically think Judy Lee.
But alas ,many other mfgs used the same. You might try to find matching signed earrings tho..often they were signed & the brooch wasn`t. Just a thought.
The red one I`d say no to D&E, also. And red is very hard to capture sometimes..used to give me fits too.
But both should sell just fine on their own, even unsigned
