Hello, I purchased a diamond bracelet from this seller.
the bracelet was listed as natural diamond, VS Quality and G-H color. 1st bracelet was rejected due to quality of diamonds being 3 grades lower than stated. The seller apologized for this mishandling and advised to order again, assuring this will not happen again. I placed my order again and this time passed the inspection, however, I am very confused how this passed inspection. Some of these diamonds have yellow hue/tint to them. How did this pass GIA? I left a negative feedback about this experience and the seller had eBay remove the feedback.

·1 year agoGuess I don't understand the whole process, but shouldn't you have been able to simply open an item not as described case?

·1 year agoYeah agree with the others that is NOT the same bracelet..
The clasp is not the same.
Stones are larger in the listing bracelet.
And holy moly the color.. The listing looks like maybe moissanite..
Enlarge those clasp pics.. The listing pic has one safety latch that's thick & rigid not at all flexible. The bracelet you received has two safety latches that are a little flexible.
So sorry.. I know how disappointing that is..
I hope you filed a return for "item doesn't match description"
Did you also report the seller for the bait & switch? Please do..

·1 year agoIf you look at the consistent white body color of the diamonds compared with the piece you actually got, I would call it a classic bait and switch. And as someone who photographs diamond jewelry regularly, I can say for sure that the spectral colors (dispersion/fire) in the listing photographs have been blatantly "photoshopped".
I would have hoped that eBay's authentication service would have crippled sellers like this; the kind that us honest sellers have to compete against.

Both sets of images show the color variation in the stones between the two bracelets.
Thank you for sharing both sets of photographs; they made this comparison very interesting and informative.

·1 year agoI BELIEVE (not absolutely sure) that in a piece like this, it will pass eBay's authentication diamond quality test if something like just 25% of the diamonds meet the standard. It's ridiculous.
As a Graduate Gemologist, if I were to do an appraisal on the bracelet you show in your photo, I would say something to the effect of, "the diamonds range from near colorless to light yellow in color with an average color graded at N/O." PLEASE NOTE I AM NOT GRADING YOUR BRACELET NOW BASED ON THE PHOTOGRAPH. Any appraiser/gemologist would have to see it in person.
But all of this being said, there is just absolutely no way your bracelet is close to G/H, VS. Period. Flat out misrepresented, probably knowingly taking advantage of the loophole in the eBay minimum standard for authentication in order to deceive.
If you don't LOVE IT and are thrilled with the value, get a refund. Sellers like this give all eBay jewelry sellers a bad name.

OP1 year agoYea. I am no expert but I should have know better than to buy a 14k gold bracelet with 6-7CT for $2300 with those specs. Here is a picture of the whole bracelet.

OP1 year agoI guess I believe in 2nd chances. Silly me. My return has been approved and I got a label. Will drop it off tomorrow to go back to eBay authentication before going back to the seller since that is the process.

OP1 year agoCan someone explain to me
why eBay covers for these sellers? Both negative feedback left for this seller by me were removed. I am guessing by the seller contacting eBay and requesting removal? How can others be alerted if feedback is being removed? I am very disappointed in eBay.

·1 year agoI think some sellers can have so many negative feedbacks removed maybe per year, or month or? Only some, power sellers or ?
Someone needs to confirm this, as I read it, and you know the saying you can't always believe everything you read/see on the internet...ðŸ˜
Also, there are restrictions of what you can/cannot say on negative feedback that a seller could get removed for policy violations.

·1 year agoI would not have purchased a second time from a seller that misrepresented his items in the first sale. At this point, file a return through eBay for a refund as item not described. If that doesn't work, due to it going through the authentication program, you can always file a case through your credit card, or however you paid. Don't waste any time, and certainly don't let the seller delay you.

OP1 year agoThe funny thing is that the seller (Jwlxpress_24) isn’t trying to take any action to rectify this issue or admitting their wrong doing. I’m still puzzled how this passed GIA and eBay Authentication process.

You can't see what item the negative feedbacks are for.

More of a grade K+ maybe??
Just a guess...return for a refund if you can as I don't think you really are liking what you received...😶
