Just for your own edification, that circled "é" (pronounced: hard A, as in hay.) Is a lower case e with an accent aigu (acute) in French, which is what gives it the "ay" sound. One é is masculine, René, two is feminine Renée. Don't ask me why I know this. Let's just say there's a reason I go by Mae. Aimée (pr.
