Ebay should verify all Jewelry as Real
I really want ebay to verify jewelry and tech. Sellers are ripping people off with all this FAKE jewelry. Making a lot of money by lying to customers. Ebay needs to put a VERIFIED label on all Jewelry sellers. Make them. Also have Ebay put into effect a extended return for fake items.

·2 years agoeBay has no way to verify jewelry. No employee of eBay ever sees those things. They go from the seller to the buyer. How many experts in how many categories would eBay need to hire for this to work? And how much more time would that process add to the buyer's receipt of their purchase?
eBay offers the Money Back Guarantee for buyers. The buyer has 30 days to make sure that what he received is what was described. If it is not, or if he claims that it's not, he has the protection of the MBG. If he misses that deadline, he can do a chargeback with Paypal if that's how he paid, or do a chargeback on his credit card. Paypal gives 180 days and most credit cards give an extended period also.
Why would buyers of jewelry and tech, for instance, need longer to identify something that is not as described than in other categories?
