Authenticity guarantees on Jewelry.
Hello, as Buyer am I supposed to receive some type of documentation back from the GIA with their findings on a piece of jewelry? ie.. like a GIA report? To see if their finding really do match the sellers listing?

OP2 years agoI got an email saying the item passed authentication and would be shipped. Once I received the box it had two business type cards in it, one thanking me for the purchase and the other with a QR code to scan for the Authentication details. Well all that does is show the photo of the ring and a check mark an Auth ID and an Auth by (GIA) I was really hoping for more of a detailed appraisal back. Thank you for your reply!!!

And thank you as well. I hope you are very happy with your purchase and keep everything you received back from the authenticator including a copy of original listing in case you wish to sell your item.

You won't get a full on appraisal back but you should get some kind of pass inspection report along with the piece.
