From the information I've received from buyers, the authentication does not include a report. There is some kind of computer printout stating that the item was authenticated as far as the item matching the description of the listing.
The authentication is automatic on most items $500 or more. Buyers can pay a fee ($40 I believe) to have a lower priced item authenticated.
